What you will be doing

You will act as a senior customer success engineer for our SaaS solution and you will operate at the intersection of sales and R&D. You will be responsible to technically convince top prospects, onboard them and make them successful while at the same time streamlining the process between Operations, Sales and R&D.

Automation and standardization are key to the growth of our SaaS business and their implementation will be essential for our success. You carry a critical mindset that detects automation and standardisation possibilities during your daily work and you steer those possibilities to successful implementation.

Day-to-day you will aim to:

  • Understand the customer needs and convey the value proposition of our SaaS solutions to them. You drive the customer from A to Z through the technical buying cycle.

  • Translate these needs into opportunities to improve our product in close cooperation with R&D.

  • Gather and analyse the use cases of customers and map them into the industry standard processes in our SaaS solution when deploying our solutions to enable maximum productivity for the customer.

  • Stay in close contact with our top customers to capture feedback, increase customer success and create opportunities for upselling.

  • Streamline and optimise the process between Sales, Operations and R&D for maximum efficiency and scalability.

  • Automate the large scale deployment of our SaaS solution for scalability

In this position you report directly to the director of Operations and work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and R&D team.

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for a bright engineer with a commercial mindset and good communication skills. You will be able to make a difference from day one and a “get things done” mentality will be highly appreciated.

  • You have a Master in Information Technology or Engineering or you have an equivalent of this requirement in working experience

  • You have an experience of over 7 years in an Operations position within a high growth environment. A suitable candidate will also have diverse experiences in the fields of pre-sales, project management, business process mapping and preferably in a SaaS environment

  • You have experience with ABC communication protocols and ABC SCADA systems.

  • You demonstrate exceptional technical skills and a rich blend of commercial, analytical and strategic talents in order to create success with prospects and customers

  • You've learned to walk the tightrope between hands-on pragmatism and strategic projects, while juggling day-to-day requests and team availabilities

  • Full professional proficiency, spoken and written, in French and English. Other languages (e.g. Dutch) are an asset.
